We work closely with our customers, which include national restaurant chains, independent restaurant operators, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, and many other segments, to provide the products and services that will help them operate more efficiently and realize better bottom line results. The Pricing & Inventory Analyst provides analysis to ensure the pricing of goods and services stays competitive in the market, as well as coordinates and communicates pricing information for new product releases. This person is integral in accurately maintaining daily, weekly and monthly inventory levels while maintaining proper inventory rotation and storage.  Essential Functions & Responsibilities-       Uses ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy and run/analyze variance reports.-       Coordinates and communicates pricing information for new product releases.-       Maintains historical pricing data on the organization and its competitors.-       Estimates merchandise overhead and develops ways to reduce costs.-       Develops and implements methods to maintain accurate inventory levels and reduce waste, including stock replenishment, proper locations, on-hand stock amounts, etc.-       Demand planning & forecasting, setting reorder points, expedites, defers, diverts, placing purchase orders, performing pricing analysis, and managing receipt of goods.-       Manage product lifecycle from new product introduction, existing product promotion, rationalization of SKUs, discontinuation, and close-out.-       Partner cross-functionally with Marketing/Ecom to develop promotional and marketing tools.-       Develops and maintains pricing strategy for retail and ecommerce; continually reviews to ensure products are priced correctly.-       Perform warehouse capacity analysis to determine impact of new items on current space.-       All other duties as assigned and/or required.  Competencies, Skills and Abilities-       Requires a candidate who is highly detail and accuracy oriented.-       Strong analytical and organizational skills are required.-       Candidate must embrace team concepts and be flexible and self-motivated.-       Able to communicate via phone, email, e-meeting and in person to all members of the Merchandising team as well as company leadership. Education & Experience-       High School diploma-       1-3 years’ experience directly related to the duties specified-       Strong critical thinking skills: root cause analysis, develop solutions and evaluate results-       Experience with ERP system-       Ability to analyze and interpret data-       Proficient with MS Word suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)-       Excellent verbal and written communication skills-       Strong attention to detail-       Extremely well organized and able to work with minimum supervision-       Proven ability to maintain a database of information.-       Ability to build, run and validate reports.-       Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, handle multiple assignments in a timely manner and consistently deliver on commitments-       Willingness to work proactively in a team environment-       Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely with all levels of leadership and peers.
