    The Data Entry Clerk operates data entry devices, such as keyboard and database software. Duties may include verifying data and preparing materials for printing. Ability to interact with staff  in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This is a remote position. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
    • Read source documents and enter data into proprietary software.
    • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. 
    • Store completed documents in appropriate locations. 
    • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
    • Locate and correct data entry errors and report them to supervisors.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

     QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: 

    • At least 1 year experience in data entry.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook

    WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Use of computer and office equipment. Performs all administrative functions expected at this level.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is  required to sit for long periods of time.  The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
