    • Lead and autonomously manage complex personal injury litigation from initial complaint through settlement or verdict.
    • Command all phases of litigation, expertly handling discovery, motions practice, and depositions, including those of expert and corporate representative witnesses.
    • Serve as first or second chair in jury trials, executing every aspect of trial advocacy, from voir dire and opening statements to direct/cross-examinations and compelling closing arguments.
    • Draft and refine high-quality legal documents, including sophisticated pleadings, motions, and briefs that stand up to scrutiny.
    • Negotiate and secure highly favorable settlements and agreements on behalf of your clients.
    • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to develop winning case strategies.
    • Maintain proactive and empathetic communication with clients, guiding them through every step of the litigation journey.
    • Meticulously manage case files and ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance.

    Who We're Looking For: A Proven Trial Attorney

    We are seeking a trial-ready attorney who consistently delivers exceptional results for plaintiffs.

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
    • Active and in good standing admission with the North Carolina State Bar.
    • Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience practicing personal injury law (plaintiff side).
    • Proven jury trial experience, having served as first or second chair in at least five (5) jury trials.
    • Demonstrated expertise in taking depositions, specifically including medical professionals and corporate representatives.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with powerful advocacy abilities.
    • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
    • Adept at effective negotiation on behalf of clients.
    • Proficiency in legal research tools.
    • Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Filevine) and cloud-based document management (e.g., Google Drive) is a plus.
