We’re currently seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to take the lead on complex, high-impact cases that shape lives and communities across the region. About the Role: As a Trial Attorney, you will be at the forefront of challenging litigation matters, guiding clients through intricate legal issues with skill and precision. From mass torts and environmental litigation to class actions, your leadership will ensure our clients receive outstanding representation while advancing justice throughout the Southwest. Compensation • Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 • Benefits package including medical, dental, and vision • Paid time off and holiday schedule Responsibilities: • Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings. • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. • Prepare clients and witnesses for trial and depositions. • Handle discovery, including interrogatories, depositions, and document production. • Develop and execute trial strategies in coordination with the legal team. • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation or arbitration as needed. • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed throughout the legal process. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Proven trial experience, including at least 10 jury trials and 25 bench trials. • A minimum of 15 years of litigation practice, with expertise in general litigation, mass torts, environmental law, or class actions. • Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction, with the ability or willingness to secure New Mexico licensure or practice under applicable provisions. • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex legal cases and leading litigation teams effectively. • Outstanding analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities. • Strong cultural awareness with the ability to build rapport and effectively serve clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly within New Mexico’s distinctive cultural setting.
