Responsibilities: • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions • Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings • Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings • Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests/responses Qualifications: • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills • Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree) • Member of state and local bar associations in good standing • At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney Compensation: $150,000 - $300,000 yearly
