** Job Summary**
Trial Specialists provide advanced, complex assistance in support of client case teams, and supervise and coordinate all aspects of trial, mediation, arbitration or any other manner of dispute resolution on behalf of firm clients. Trial Specialists have a minimum billing requirement of 1600 hours per year.

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to provide quality client service to both internal and external contacts, regarding matters of a routine nature
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Ability to apply technical knowledge or guidance, analyze and interpret data from several sources to solve problems by applying precedent or extrapolating from previous experience
Strong attention to detail, including superior spelling and grammar
Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate information with tact and courtesy
Follow instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys and staff
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and with others in a cooperative, enthusiastic and friendly manner to accomplish position functions and participate in team efforts
Working knowledge of litigation databases, including but not limited to: Relativity, Case Notebook, CaseMap, Concordance, Trial Director, Sanction, etc.
Ability to supervise and provide direction, mentoring, training and assistance to practice support and other office staff as appropriate
Substantial knowledge of legal concepts, methodologies, and relevant area of law (e.g. litigation, IP, etc.).
Ability to travel on short notice and work more than 37.5 hours a week if necessary
Ability to safely lift, move and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
** Education**
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree. Equivalent training and experience may substitute for education
** Experience**
The position requires a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as senior level litigation paralegal.
Comprehensive familiarity with all aspects of trial support required, along with multiple recent courtroom experience in first-chair role.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The salary for this position $119,000 to $156,000 per year. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
