    Overview
    We are seeking a highly experienced Trial Specialist to provide advanced litigation support and manage all aspects of trial preparation and execution. This role involves coordinating trial logistics, supervising trial teams, and ensuring that all case-related tasks are completed with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has significant trial experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead litigation support functions from discovery through resolution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as lead paralegal/trial specialist on litigation matters, providing hands-on trial support.

    • Prepare trial materials including witness binders, deposition designations, exhibits, and electronic presentations.

    • Manage trial logistics such as reserving space, setting up war rooms, coordinating equipment, and transporting files.

    • Support attorneys during jury selection, depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings.

    • Cite check, proofread, and format legal filings and briefs.

    • Oversee document production, including review for responsiveness and privilege, redactions, and preparation of logs.

    • Coordinate case chronologies, indices, databases, and filing systems.

    • Conduct factual and legal research, and summarize depositions, transcripts, and evidence.

    • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and staff to ensure deadlines and trial milestones are met.

    • Mentor junior litigation support staff as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.

    • Minimum of 10 years of litigation paralegal or trial support experience.

    • Significant, recent in-court trial experience in a first-chair support role.

    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Strong knowledge of litigation support software (e.g., Relativity, CaseMap, Trial Director, Concordance, Sanction).

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

    • Ability to work independently under pressure, travel on short notice, and work extended hours as required.

    $130,000 per year
