    Description Director of Operations needed to work directly with the Firm’s two stakeholders, fractional C-Suite, and key employees to oversee everything except legal case management. This position will oversee human resources, project management, recruitment, onboarding new hires, and critical administrative and financial oversight. Our Director of Operations must be a pro at workflow and project management and someone who deeply understands employee engagement, who is metrics-driven and KPI-obsessed, and who will be invested in making important contributions to the success of the Firm. Responsibilities: Director of Operations will be actively involved in all phases of administration, personnel, finances, facilities, and business systems. We need someone with experience to keep the Firm’s needs in the forefront and work closely with the Owner and key Team members on strategy, policy, problem-solving, and decision-making. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the day-to-day operations of the Firm, and for directing the implementation of Firm policies. Responsibilities include: • Day-to-day operations of the firm, including human resources • Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives • Working with the bookkeepers on payroll and benefits • Assisting with recruitment, hiring and onboarding new Team members • Preparing financial reports for the stakeholders and conducting strategic meetings • Overseeing vendors • Managing office facilities • Assisting with drafting, implementing, maintaining, improving and monitoring execution of the Firm's policies and procedures • Ensuring the Firm's business systems and processes are documented and followed Qualifications: You must be able to show evidence of your prior success with: • Employee engagement and leadership, recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, supervision, and termination • Playing a role in the management of teams of 20+ people and budgets of $3,500,000 or more • Learning how to measure what matters and using common financial reports to make business decisions (budget variance, P&L, cashflow forecast) • Managing bookkeepers, accountants, technology services, and other vendors • Previous experience in a law firm is preferred We care about skills and experience.
