Tribe XR is on a mission to make the world more creative! Our first product, TRIBE XR - DJ IN VR, is available on Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, Viveport, and Steam. Tribe XR recently completed Techstars Music - you can see our demo day video here. 

Tribe XR is looking for an experienced, kick-ass developer to join our team. In an ideal world, she or he would have extensive experience working with Unreal Engine to build top-class VR and AR software, including rapidly prototyping and iterate new concepts and features. They will also be incredibly user-focused. Our community drives our product and engineering decisions. This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced team at an early stage, to evaluate and test new technologies around AR/VR, and their impact on the way people learn and create, and to build the platform to improve learning around the world.

REQUIREMENTS

• We care most about your ability to quickly turn ideas into code, test and iterate prototypes with customers, and continuously improve the product in a fast-paced environment. 
• Proficient in Unreal or other similar 3D environments and engines
• At least 2-3 years experience building VR or AR apps or games
• Bachelors in Computer Science or related subject preferred
• Proficient in Python, Java, Objective C, C++, or any other web or mobile-focused languages.

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Mobile development (IOS or Android)
• Experience with Machine Learning, NLP
• Ideally, you're a hacker and/or have always had projects on the side of your main job.
• Startup experience a plus.
