WE ARE LOOKING FOR A WORDPRESS WEB DESIGNER. THIS IS A FULL-TIME AND SALARIED POSITION. THIS ROLE’S MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO DESIGN AND BUILD STUNNING WEBSITES UTILIZING UX/UI BEST PRACTICES. THIS POSITION WILL COLLABORATE HEAVILY WITH THE DIGITAL MARKETING TRIBES TO HELP BUILD FULL-FLEDGED POWERFUL WEBSITES.
Tribu is a fast-paced environment and this position is timeline-driven, requiring good time management skills and adherence to deadlines. Individuals in this position must be able to thrive under pressure, are self-aware and have an eye for compelling design. This opportunity works from our headquarters in downtown San Antonio, TX. Please, no remote applicants – you must be willing to relocate.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress
Both front-end and back-end development — everything from plug-ins to security updates.
Establish and guide website architecture and UX, so sites are attractive and user-friendly.
This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and preferably PHP ) and Graphic Design (a good understanding of page layout, color, font and graphic choices).
Incorporate UX/UI best practices in website designs.
Collaborate with the digital marketing tribe to ensure your design aligns with conversion goals and ongoing digital marketing strategies.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree in web design or creative communication media
Two or more years of professional experience with WordPress
A basic understanding of HTML & CSS
A stunning portfolio of work
Strong collaboration skills
