We are looking for an experienced Engineering Estimator to join the team at Tribus Aerospace - Midwest Precision in Eastlake, OH! The ideal candidate will have a proven background in estimating complex projects in the aerospace industry. As the Engineering Estimator, you will work on a range of activities, from creating bids and price quotes to calculating time and material requirements for a variety of components and assemblies. You will have an eye for detail and the ability to understand the scope of the project and the associated expectations. Responsibilities: • Prepare estimates and quotes for customers based on detailed drawings and specifications. • Able to develop manufacturing processes for CNC Mills and CNC Lathes as well as assembly. • Understanding of cost accounting principles such as labor rates, burden rates, and profit margins. • Knowledge of purchasing costs (raw material, outside processing, etc.). • CAD/CAM programming/drafting of all new Customer parts for Production, including updating new revisions as received from Customers. • Experience in processing “various alloys” through machining operations to meet drawing requirements. • Adherence to the policies and procedures of the AS9100 guidelines through the use of the Quality Manual and the Quality Management Software. • Operate production equipment when appropriately needed and as trained • Fixture and Tool Design as trained Qualifications: • Microsoft Windows • Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Windows, and Excel) • Mazatrol CNC Programming software is a plus, but not required. • CADCAM programming software is a plus, but not required. • CMM measuring software is a plus, but not required. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, revisions, etc. • Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Compensation: $58,000 - $70,000 yearly
