MARKETING COORDINATOR – TRIBUTARY SUPPLY
Hybrid in Akron, OH
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a MARKETING COORDINATOR to assist in the development, launch, and support of our various home improvement product lines. This is a high visibility position that can lead to other key roles in our organization such as assisting our Product Management department in the development of new and innovate products. You will have the vision and creativity to maintain, improve upon, and expand product detail pages, user manuals, and packaging across multiple product categories.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Become knowledgeable about our product lines and develop a level of expertise around the product specifications, features and benefits.
- Communicate with end customers – which include Big Box retailers – via reviews, Q&A, email, and phone calls.
- Routinely visit retail stores, make observations of products, purchase samples, and document visit with photographs.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing product samples with customers.
- Consistently generate clear product marketing copy by independently gathering information from subject matter experts to develop, organize and write technical content.
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
- Collaborate with creative teams to create line drawings to support and illustrate written documentation
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice.
- Audit and update product listing details to ensure the best customer experience for our retailers.
- Maintain a library of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.
- Be a brand ambassador by continually monitoring online product reviews and lead related product review programs.
- Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field (Preferred).
- No prior experience necessary; though prior internship or retail experience is a plus.
- Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional copywriting and proofreading abilities.
- Firm grasp of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing.
- Must be a self-starter capable of advancing projects independently, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Must possess strong analytical abilities to analyze metrics, generate reports, and provide data-driven solutions.
- Must have a high level of creativity.
- Occasional travel may be required.
