    Job Description

    The Consultant is responsible for growing the reach of the “go” product portfolio both offline and online content. The candidate must have very strong organizational, planning and writing skills; technical, administrative and substantive servicing support of events/meetings/conferences; strong interest in analytics to measure effectiveness; and a proven track record in marketing, communications and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will also possess foundational skills and experience in traditional communications, marketing and media relations; imagination; technical writing skills; Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintains an accurate record of speakers and/or an attendance record; takes notes at meetings/conferences, highlighting action items, as well as, quotes for use in social media and other marketing and promotion. 
    • Reports on the proceedings of meetings/conferences; and submits reports, if required, to the supervisor. 
    • Assists in the electronic dissemination of programmes; prepares, maintains and updates web page to include drafting and editing content; uploads/downloads audio files and maintains file structure.
    • Ensures availability and appropriate packaging of products for distribution at special events, exhibits, conferences, media functions, etc.
    • Organizes and maintains reference material and background documents.
    • Undertakes research and provides reference materials for preparation of briefs, notes and statements for the chairperson of committees and meetings/conferences. 
    • Prepares and organizes sets of documentation for distribution at meetings/conferences.
    • Provides specialized assistance in the production and delivery of information communications products and services, particularly technical materials such as user guides, installations guides and other technical documentation. 
    • Researches, compiles and presents basic information for use in the preparation and production of communications products/services for ICT-related topics. 
    • Supports the online marketing and promotion coordinator overseeing the day-to-day marketing activities and works closely with the audio/visual webmaster to ensure successful branding techniques; produces a wide range of promotional products.

    Qualifications
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field; or the equivalent years of experience required.
    • Minimum three (3) years of event management and communications (including technical writing) experience required.
    • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. 
    • Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality.
    • Strong analytical, technical and project management skills; creative thinker, action-oriented, versatile, ability to adapt in dynamic environment and takes initiative.
    • Extremely detail-oriented with proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written) along with professional manner and presentation required. 
    • Effectively and in a timely manner liaises and interacts with colleagues and concerned parties internally and externally.
    • Strong collaboration skills; experience working with people from diverse backgrounds or in an international setting.
    • Tech savvy, including web publishing, social media and rich-media a plus.Q
