    Job Summary Trileaf Corporation is a nationwide environmental, architecture, and engineering consulting firm that assists clients with environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and engineering & architectural design. Trileaf serves the wireless communications, commercial real estate, financial, and petroleum industries from its headquarters in St. Louis, MO and multiple branch offices throughout the U.S. Trileaf is seeking a full time Project Scientist with 0 to 3 years of experience conducting environmental due diligence work to include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs) and Phase II ESAs from the St. Louis, MO office. Responsibilities and Duties Phase I ESA responsibilities include conducting site visits of commercial real estate as well as wireless communications facilities. The site visit is comprised of taking detailed field notes, photographs, and conducting interviews. Subsequent to field work, office activities consist of performing regulatory agency file reviews, reviewing historic data (including but not limited to topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs), reviewing title/lien search reports, and environmental databases, followed by the interpretation of the compiled information and the drafting of a standardized report in accordance with ASTM E-1527-13 (AAI). Perform QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients within established timelines. Phase II ESA responsibilities include conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air, and analysis of said samples via an independent laboratory. After receipt of the analytical data, responsibilities include comparison of the results to applicable regulatory standards and drafting of a standardized report in accordance with ASTM E-1903-19. Qualifications and Skills To be considered, the resume of the applicant must show that the applicant possesses the following qualifications/skills: - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields - Attention to detail - Strong work ethic - Valid Driver License - Capable of field work - Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time) - Good computer skills - Be an independent worker - Dedicated to excellence Experience conducting the following assessments is strongly preferred: - Phase I ESAs - Phase II ESAs Experience conducting one or more of the following assessments is preferred though not mandatory: - Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) - Transaction Screen Assessments (TSAs) - Asbestos / lead based paint inspections - Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments Previous HAZPOWER and/or ACM/LBP licensing is ideal Benefits Trileaf's benefits include: - 401k with Trileaf matching - Health insurance provided by Trileaf (free of charge for employee) - Life & disability insurance provided by Trileaf (free of charge for employee) - Dental and vision plans (buy in) - 3 weeks of PTO per year (accrual) Trileaf Corporation is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
