    Job Description

    Trillion Technology Solutions is hiring Senior Web API Developers! This position will be supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency within OpenFEMA.

    Location: Remote - otherwise Reston, VA

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with other stakeholders to turn requirements into actionable design and development tasks.
    • Use your breadth of skills to participate and influence design discussions across the board.
    • Research and ensure adherence to industry-standard best practices for security and scalability.
    • Support and maintain the API platform during live deployments.
    • Discover, extract, prepare data for publishing through the platform
    • Prepare documentation for the API Platform
    • Support application migration to the cloud

    Qualifications:

    • BS in, Information Systems, Engineering, other related discipline
    • US Citizen and able to obtain Public trust
    • 8+ years of software design and development experience.
    • Development experience in Cloud and DevSecOps environments
    • Strong understanding of high-level and low-level secure and scalable web API design.
    • Strong sense of ownership and passion for building highly scalable web API platforms.
    • Strong experience with NoSQL and Relational databases
    • Experience with secure development practices
    • Strong language experience with NodeJs, JavaScript, Typescript, DevSecOps, RESTAPI, ReactJS

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with Python, SQL, DevOps Pipelines, OData, GraphQL, JSON, XML
    • Excellent programming, debugging and troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience with developing, deploying and maintaining large-scale consumer/enterprise live services.
    • Good communication and presentation skills.
    • Must be a self-starter/self-directed member of the team.
    • Experience with test-driven development
    • Proficiency in Agile methodologies Scrum, Kanban
