Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trim Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining trim saw machines used in the processing of wood materials, ensuring precision and quality throughout the production process. The Trim Saw Operator plays a vital role in meeting production schedules and product specifications while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate trim saw machines to cut materials to specified dimensions and angles according to blueprints and work orders.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high-quality standards.
- Set up and configure saw machines, including blade selection and alignment, to achieve optimal performance and precision cutting.
- Monitor machine operation during cutting processes, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and all safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in the regular maintenance and upkeep of trim saw equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or woodworking is a plus.
- Proven experience as a saw operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of precision measurement tools and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to machine operation and handling of materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
