    SUMMARY

    TRINITY SAFETY GROUP is immediately seeking a SITE SAFETY FACILITATOR to work with one of our clients in INDIANAPOLIS, IN for an interior building renovation that includes demo and commercial construction build back. Project is projected to last 16 months and due to start mid-June. We are looking for someone who enjoys being out on-site and in the field. You will be communicating closely with craft personnel as well as management on safety-related matters including safety issues and how to prevent future issues / incidents. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience since you will be working directly with the general contractor, owner and various other subcontractors.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Visible resource and positive influence in the working environment through a full-time field presence.
    • Conduct site safety audits
    • Monitor all open safety observations to closure
    • Participating in safety meetings and toolbox talks, reviewing daily JSAs, investigating incidents and participating in orientations
    • Provide daily, weekly, monthly and project-to-date data analysis for all safety metrics
    • Participate in weekly meetings with all levels of management including the client, owner and other subcontractors
    • Review all contractors' daily activity planning documents for accurate job task analysis
    • Monitor training certifications for all contractors on site
    • Responsible for providing support to contractors of the project safety program; components including employee engagement, effective safety leadership, change management, key safety performance indicators, event management, risk assessment and job planning.

    EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

    • Safety Management experience required
    • 5+ years of site safety experience in construction
    • CHST certification preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management (or a similar field) preferred
    • Excellent work ethic, great interpersonal / communication skills, willingness and ability to learn, positive attitude
    • Ability to provide oversight and facilitate an event management process including classification of potential event consequences, data collection, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and sharing of lessons learned
    • Proficient in a variety of Safety Apps and technology
    • Skillful in Microsoft Office products
