DESCRIPTION: Systems Administrator

JOB SUMMARY: Trinium Technologies is the leading provider of hosted enterprise systems to the intermodal trucking and petroleum distribution industries.

We’re looking for a talented Systems Administrator to be part of a small, dynamic team that is responsible for maintaining our SaaS infrastructure and providing desktop support to our office and remote workers.

In addition to providing exceptional customer service, you will proactively drive improvements in security, performance, reliability and business continuity for our customers. A typical day might include:

• Monitoring the performance of our SaaS infrastructure and proactively responding to alerts

• Identify problems and recommending enhancements

• Deploying virtual servers and software through automated deployment tools

• Troubleshooting network issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, VPN

• Installing and configuring workstations and printers

• Providing customer support both in-person and over the phone, including routine training

• Participating in our on-call rotation to provide emergency support on evenings and weekends

• Other projects as required to maintain SaaS systems uptime at 99.98% or higher

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with VMware, XEN, Hyper-V or other virtualization technologies

• Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, etc.)

• Experience with Microsoft RemoteApp or Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop

• Experience with RHEL/CentOS or other Linux distributions

• Experience supporting users in a Microsoft environment

• Experience with Office365

• Experience troubleshooting network connections including VPN clients

• Experience with common network and infrastructure monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus)

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple customer requests

• Must be extremely well organized, flexible, and responsive

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

• Any Industry Technical Certifications such as MTA, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, SWCP, CompTIA or VCP

• Experience with AWS

• Experience with Microsoft ATP, Tenable, Qualys

• Experience with shell scripting, Python, Go, Powershell, BAT
