    Overview (Scope of Role)

    The Production Operator position entails the crucial responsibility of producing acrylic resin through bulk polymerization, compounding, and extrusion methods, utilizing both liquid and solid raw materials.

    This challenging role will be based in Bristol, PA and will be reporting directly to the esteemed Operations Leader.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    •Compliance with safe work procedures during the formulation, production, testing, and packaging phases of various grades of acrylic resin.

    •Monitoring and controlling process conditions through distributed control systems (DCS).

    •Execution of manual tasks related to the maintenance of operations on all production lines.

    •Accurate documentation of raw material usage and finished goods production.

    •Effectively communicating essential process information to colleagues and supervisors.

    •Proficient operation of a forklift.

    •Maintaining excellent cleanliness and organization of work areas.

    •Active participation in the Behavior Based Safety process through observations.

    •Adherence to Loss Control policy, ISO 9001 and OSHAS 18001 management systems.

    •Capability to climb ladders, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including SCBA respirators.

    •Ability to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including night shifts.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    •Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

    •Preferred minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Essential Knowledge and Skills

    •Basic proficiency in MS Office software.

    •Outstanding interpersonal skills.

    •Exceptional multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
