    Overview (Scope Of Role)

    The Site Leader (Manufacturing) has overall responsibility and accountability for the plant assets, personnel and achievement of the plant related business goals. The role delivers plant based business and administrative leadership to an empowered, work process driven, reliable plant organization.

    Essential Functions

    • Set and track plant performance targets based on business and functional goals in relation to the plant.
    • Demonstrate leadership in EHS via leading and/or participating in EHS programs to ensure safe operations and compliance.
    • Set, track and control budget based on priorities balancing business and plant and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead and participate in continuously improving plant performance in EHS, Quality and Productivity.
    • Coordinate internal and external resources to attain set target and new issues arise.
    • Develop and coach staffs to attain results and perform people related administrative duties.
    • Day to day administration duties.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineer or other relevant engineering/science disciplines.
    • 10+ years of manufacturing plant experience
    • 5+ years of manufacturing plant leadership experience
    • Must have Union plant management experience
    • Chemical manufacturing experience or experience in a similar type of manufacturing environment
    • Hazardous materials management
    • Demonstrated experience in leading team for results.
    • Technically savvy – interested and fluent in engineering and technology applicable to the work environment.
    • Strong Communication skills (verbal, written, instructional etc.
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
