    JOB DESCRIPTION – QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST

     

    The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the overall quality of the Trionfo platform and will play a key role in continuing to refine and improve our platform. The individual will have sound knowledge and experience in quality assurance methods and principles. The QA Analyst will help define and implement testing standards and best practices. In addition, this role will be responsible for determining whether applications meet Trionfo’s quality standards using manual and automated testing methods.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Gain domain knowledge and become a subject matter expert
    • Take responsibility for project assignments and lead the QA effort
    • Act as a QA voice for major development projects
    • Review requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions
    • Create and document application test plans
    • Prepare and review test cases
    • Create and manage test data as needed
    • Execute testing and prepare test results
    • Conduct exploratory and ad hoc testing
    • Report and track defects
    • Participate in the analysis of quality assurance tools selection as needed
    • Develop plans for automating test cases as applicable
    • Create and manage automated acceptance tests using testing frameworks like Selenium
    • Prepare test reports as needed
    • Work with internal and external clients to determine quality needs for current and future projects and develop plans to produce quality outputs
    • Support user acceptance testing as necessary
    • Mentor/lead other QA resources
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest QA testing tools and practices

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field

    • 5+ years experience as a Quality Software Analyst, or related role

    • 1+ years experience performing automated testing, desirable

    • Experience working within the insurance domain, desirable

    • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Test Management tools

    • Understanding of various project management techniques (e.g. waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban)

    • Proven Problem Solving and Investigative skills

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Strong collaboration skills

    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

    • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
