    TripTuner's CEO is looking for a phenomenal Virtual Executive Assistant. This is a remote, contract position.

    TripTuner is a web app that helps travelers discover destinations “in tune” with their interests.  CEO Tedd Evers is an online travel veteran, having worked at places like Travelocity, Site59 and eDreams in Barcelona. Years ago, he quit his job to travel around the world and decided that travel was his thing. Launched in October 2011, his company TripTuner has been featured in publications such as CNN, The New York Times and NBC News.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    (Please do NOT continue if you do not meet the minimum requirements for this position).

    • Based in the USA
    • Able to work Eastern USA time zone hours
    • College degree
    • Can type at least 80 WPM
    • 1+ years experience in an administrative role
    • 1+ years experience as a virtual assistant or work-from-home
    • Flexible schedule between 9a and 5p Eastern USA time
    • Available for at least 5-10 hours per week of regular work

    MORE REQUIREMENTS

    • Passion for travel
    • Extremely tech-savvy. You fix your family's phones and computers.
    • FANTASTIC organizational and communication skills.
    • Extreme attention to detail. You get annoyed by people who mess up their / there / they're.
    • Resourceful: you can find at least 1, maybe 2 email addresses for Tedd on the internet. Include them as a postscript in your cover letter.
    • Have written publicly in some capacity: for a blog, newsletter, etc.

    BONUS POINTS IF YOU…

    • have experience with Trello, LastPass, photo editing and Google Apps.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Web research & testing
    • Light project management
    • Compiling reports e.g. via Google Analytics
    • Email support
    • Calendar management
    • Personal correspondence on behalf of the CEO
    • Copywriting: co-authoring blog, marketing materials, social media posts
    • Editing/proofreading
    • Minor photo editing / formatting
    • Special projects
    • Other duties as they arise
