Job Description

We are currently seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to become an integral part of our development team! You will design and test operating systems-level software and network distribution software.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement and manage computing systems software
• Operating, managing, monitoring, and deploying network security devices and systems
• Using advanced knowledge of security networking devices such as application, proxy, and packet-based firewalls (i.e. McAfee Enterprise firewall appliances, Control Center Management appliances, IPSEC, SSL and SSH applications, Cisco Secure Access Control Servers (ACS), Cisco Security Manager (CSM), Cisco VPN and firewall devices, Web Proxy, Load balancer, and related software and hardware used in LAN/WAN networks)
• Research and update network distribution software for optimal performance
• Design embedded software to assist with system automation
• Perform routine software maintenance
• Document all programming tasks and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve any code issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST HAVE ACTIVE FULL SCOPE POLY CLEARANCE
• Previous experience in software development, computer programming, or other related fields
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
