Trollinger Law is a growing personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm that is looking for a dynamic hire for its Southern Maryland office in Waldorf.

This position will assist attorneys in representing injured workers throughout Maryland and Washington, DC, by maintaining client care and structuring client’s files to enable their best possible outcome from intake to settlement or verdict.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be polite, customer service oriented, empathetic, highly organized and be able to work independently. We are looking for workers who see the best in people and are willing to work hard to help their fellow human.
Applicants with a college degree are favored.
Applicants with office experience or paralegal experience will be strongly considered.
You must have experience with using Microsoft Word.
Applicants that speak Spanish are welcome.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Qualified candidates are subject to an assessment, background check and should supply at least two references related to work ethic and performance.
OUR PARALEGAL WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING TASKS:
Primary point of contact to clients and adjusters involved in a work injury
Requesting and organizing medical records of clients
Working closely with the attorney on the file to restore dignity to the injured worker through fighting for medical benefits, lost wages and permanency.
Putting together hearing exhibits for the attorney on the case
E-filing in Maryland and Washington, D.C. comp cases
Assisting completion of discovery and drafting pleadings
Working in a team environment to grow our roots in the community by assisting with outreach events when necessary
Other tasks as assigned
