Job Description

The Engineering Intern will assist engineers, inspect products, conduct tests, and collect data. In this role, the Engineering Intern will support development testing and will methodically conduct experiments to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, inspection, and maintenance. The Engineering Intern will identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions based off of data analysis and results interpretation.

• Product testing
• Prototyping on sustaining and development projects
• Researching manufacturing processes, standards, and requirements
• Reoccurring maintenance on lab equipment
• Manage quarterly testing of products, locating 3rd party labs
• Create solutions to complex technical problems.
• Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes
• Utilize computer-aided design and drafting.

Qualifications

We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Available to work 20 hours per week
• Ability to prioritize while using excellent organization and project management skills.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Positive demeanor and professional appearance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SolidWorks familiarity
