  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. In this entry level role, the HR Admin will play an integral part in supporting a small HR team in a growing company. The HR Admin will be tasked with a wide variety of responsibilities including administrative support, reporting, data entry, employee recognition, project management and other project-based tasks. Your specific responsibilities as a part of our team will include:

    1. Provide direct support to the VP of HR by handling basic administrative functions and supporting strategic initiatives.
    2. Process portions of bi-monthly payroll in coordination with VP, HR.
    3. Oversee project progress on various team initiatives.
    4. Administer employee recognition and performance management programs, including innovation to keep programs fresh.
    5. Work with HR team to create, update and maintain applicable recurring and one-time HR reports, metrics and processes.
    6. Assist VP, HR in policy administration and processing.
    7. Support Events committee by participating in day of event preparations, running errands, preparing documents and other similar tasks.
    8. Support department by assisting with scheduling, filing and other curve balls as needed.

    Qualifications

    • The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented, proactive, a problem solver, team player and self-starter.
    • Optimistic, highly motivated, and flexible with the ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and manage time effectively.
    • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to maintain confidentiality.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work/communicate with various groups of team members, strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Professional demeanor and appearance a must.
    • A minimum of a one-year commitment.
    • Prior HR or Admin experience preferred.
    • Some college level coursework in Human Resources or related fields is a plus.
