    Part Time Night Auditor

    EMPLOYEE: OPEN DEPARTMENT: Front Office

    FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt- Part Time (24-32 hours) REPORTS TO: Front Desk Manager

    POSITION GRADE: TBD HIRE DATE: 2019

    SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the Night Auditor is responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift. Night Auditors must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. They must also be able to problem solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to emergency situations.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    Assume responsibility for front office management: perform guest check in/out, make reservations, prepare daily reports, balance the days transactions and conduct security walks.

    Prepare the day’s statistical and accounting reports for the management team.

    Responds to all urgent situations that require a decision to ensure the safety of guests (walks, fire procedures, security concerns).

    Provide high quality service consistent with the TRU brand.

    Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the hotel industry. Previous experience working as a Night Auditor in a hotel is preferred. Ability to manage priorities and be able to adapt to meet the diverse needs of our customers.

    License/Certification: A valid driver's license is required.

    Language Skills: Ability to exercise excellent communication, organization, time management and listening skills. Fluency in a second language is an advantage.

    Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. OnQ certified is a plus.

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Duties are generally performed in an indoor office setting. Night work required and incumbent must be self-sufficient. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
