    Position: Operations Assistant

    Wage: $17-$19/hr. DOE; with Bonus potential

    Shift: Mon-Fri; On Call During Business Hours; *Postion starts part-time 20-25hrs week but may very well increase to full-time based on the continued growth of the company and the busy season. REMOTE HYBRID: You will be free to work from home or anywhere in the area at an on call level. Must still be available to meet clients; sales/networking events and company meetings as needed.

    Minimum Skills Needed:

    1-2 years working with general trades industry

    1-2 years administrative & sales experience

    Proven leadership experience that empowers and inspires employees to meet and exceed standards

    Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal document

    Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

    Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations

    Computer skills including Microsoft office applications; CRM; social media management.

    Our team has the need for Operations Assistant, coordinating; estimating; selling and scheduling project needs by communication with partners, vendors and clients.

    A background in the trades industry ie. handyman and remodels is preferred in this position.

    This position helps to plan aspects of the projects related activities with guidance from the Project Manager. This role also identifies and select vendors and partners across the local area to work with us to help complete our projects if it is necessary to sub-contract out, such as suitable electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians or HVAC service providers. In partnership with the Project Manager, you will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and developing/training team members; planning, assigning, directing and delegating work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    We are looking for a well-organized and motivated individual with good execution capability, to help activities in our at times fast-paced business. Good written and oral communications are required in this function as this position interfaces with clients, vendors and other team members often. Good phone conversation skills are a plus. Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word and capable with CRM platform use.

    This position prefers candidates with an associates degree. Construction field experience is appreciated and helpful. Project coordination experience preferred.

    What you’ll do:

    Drive revenue through estimate sales; marketing and networking.

    Manage administrative duties; incoming & outgoing calls; sales; estimating; invoicing.

    Help manage annual budget.

    Collaborating with accounting to complete the monthly financial reports.

    Help with all processes and procedures enforcement.

    Ensure that all team members provide clients with exceptional service.

    Work closely with Project Manager on progress of jobs, scheduling and project estimates are being sent to clients in a timely fashion.

    Process payroll.

    Maintain our social media presence and project pictures.

    On rare occasion, be available to work into the evening, nights, weekends when necessary to respond to team member or clients

    Able to provide open and effective lines of communication and address issues or concerns in a prompt and efficient manner

    Respond to urgent after-hour calls as necessary

    Direct liaison to all community organizations, city officials, industry associations and public relations entities

    Participates in preparation of the annual operating budget and financial plans which support the overall objectives of the property

    Creates and monitors annual operating goals, addressing all the drivers (Financial, Service, and Learning & Growth)

    Works with Owner and Project Manager to meet or exceed established budgetary guidelines. Establishes sound pricing policies for client services. Reviews and approves operating expenses. Develops and implements strategies to enhance profitability and revenue generation.

    Directs the accurate and on-time preparation, production and distribution of all required reports

    Protects and enhances the value of all company assets through appropriate programs in equipment maintenance and security.

    Responsible for responding to all client feedback and discusses findings with owner and/or Project Manager. Institutes changes and upgrades in service as necessary

    Promotes the company and maintaining an active and visible position in the local community and with industry partners

    Conducts training on job standards and areas of responsibility as needed

    Directs the implementation of safe operating practices in compliance with Company and regulatory policies (OSHA compliance, etc.)

    Plans and implements equipment and facility design upgrades and maintenance. Strongly active in professional trade groups such as Home Builder’s Association; customer appreciation events; networking events.
