HOW WILL YOUR ROLE IMPACT FIRST COMMAND? 

You will initiate and follow through with the perfection of liens on property including mutual funds, certificates of deposits and automobiles to be used as collateral for loans.  You will review and execute all collateral liquidations approved by lending officer and monitors all re-registrations of mutual fund accounts.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? 

• Review all mutual fund assignment paperwork and title registrations for completeness and accuracy
• Maintain a tickler system to insure the bank’s lien is perfected in a timely manner
• Review all collateral liquidations to determine availability of excess collateral and forward paperwork to appropriate fund company for processing
• Review new loan files and LOC/Loan Renewals submitted by the Loan Services Representatives to ensure completeness and fund/renew as appropriate.
• Maintenance of loan to include payments and payoffs as well as Automatic Funds Transfers and payment reversals as needed.
• Assist Advisors and clients with banking/account questions

WHAT SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED? 

EDUCATION

• High school diploma (some college desired)

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two years banking experience
• Auto Title experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to accurately follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be familiar with Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Truth-in-Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other federal regulations as they pertain to loans
• Must be able to maintain confidential information and records
• Ability to take ownership of each duty and proof your own work
