We are looking for a responsible, seasoned Project Coordinator who will support the Project Manager run, administer and organize all project activities. The successful candidate should be detailed oriented and will be responsible for creating milestone schedules, coordinate project management activities, monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise. The Project Coordinator should have the ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision, demonstrated understanding of project management concepts, and strong knowledge of written and digital project management tools
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer Issues & Risk Process
- Assist with establishment of Issue/Risk capture and resolution process tailored to the project
- Configure SharePoint Lists to effectively track status and resolution
- Report metrics to Project/Program Manager
- Daily management of Issue/Risk database for accurate ad hoc reporting
- Executive Reporting Support
- Prepare Steering Committee decks
- Prepare Weekly Status Reports
- Create & maintain Program/Project Organization Chart & Team Contact list
- Coordinate meetings & team events
- Take meeting minutes and assign action items
- Manage Project Calendar
- Other duties as assigned by Program or Project Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/BA in a related field or a combination of experience and education
- Project Coordination: 5 years
- Project Management: 1 year
- Previous experience in cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of projects
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
