    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    As a Smartronix Intelligence (PED) Analyst II you will be you will be a member of a Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) team responsible for providing regional intelligence and services derived from Full Motion Video (FMV) in support of emerging United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) requirements.  Duties include but not limited to:

     

    • Provide PED support to surge operations when required/authorized to support command operational planning.
    • Provide research and development on emerging capabilities, recommending solutions to support the mission requirement and address intelligence gaps.
    • Possess a firm understanding of ISR collection techniques, sensor and platform capabilities and best practices utilized during multi-INT product creatio
    • Analyze US and partner efforts to counter both regional and transregional threat networks operating across in a specific AOR.
    • Apply intelligence techniques in support of a specified Areas of Responsibility (AOR) using logic, analysis, synthesis, creativity, judgment, and systematic approaches to gather, evaluate, and use multiple sources of information to inform decisions and outcomes.
    • Provide detailed, real time call outs derived from manned, airborne platforms by interfacing and effectively communicating with intelligence and operations partner elements.
    • Provide fusion of other intel disciplines into assessments by incorporating historical FMV data, optical images, non-optical images or other intelligence information to enhance intelligence products.
    • Engage with analysts to determine intelligence needs, identify and develop possible collection postures and strategies, and convert these intelligence needs into collection requirements to satisfy intelligence requirements.

    Required Skills

    • Capable of performing geo-locational mensuration functions, extracting coordinates and positional relationships with geospatial databases.
    • Demonstrated understanding of the Intelligence Cycle, National GEOINT architecture, and targeting cycle.
    • Intermediate understanding of industry tools and advanced tradecraft techniques to solve customer analytical requirements including the hardware and software required with a focus on process improvement related to quality and efficiency.
    • Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of data mining techniques, open source reporting and other intelligence sources used while fusing data with near-real time FMV utilizing industry tools such as ArcGIS, SOCET GXP, or comparable Electronic Light Table (ELT).
    • Articulate the results of analysis into verbal and written reports and presentations to include: Pattern of Life (POL), Order of Battle (OB) analysis, Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA), standard and non-standard product creation.
    • Displayed ability to satisfy operational objectives in a specific Areas of Responsibility (AOR) in order to assist leadership in shaping command activities in support of global US strategies. 
    • Possess an intermediate knowledge of PED standards and procedures and tradecraft throughout the Intelligence community and maintain a working knowledge of customer organization.

    Required Experience

    • Completion of an Imagery training course from a DoD or Intelligence Agency Imagery analyst training program.
    • Top Secret Clearance with access to Special Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI)
    • Three or more years of analytical experience supporting the DoD or the Intelligence Community
    • BA/BS degree with related concentration (Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing)
