Cybersecurity Analyst

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team! You will support policy and oversight for the implementation of DoD Cybersecurity Program initiatives.

The organization is currently supporting a combination of onsite and remote work schedules.

Key Requirements:

• Must have a Top-Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or Masters (preferred)
• U.S. Citizen or national
• IA Workforce Certification (e.g.: Security+, CISSP, GSLC, CISM)
• Relevant experience (see Qualifications below)
  • Minimum 5 years of combined Joint, Interagency, OSD, or Service Headquarters experience performing work related to task area
  • Minimum 5 year of experience managing cyber manpower initiatives; coordinating programming and budget issues; preparing manpower and workforce products (i.e., executive briefs, decision papers, information papers, talking points, analysis, etc.); and representing senior leadership in cyber operations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using communication skills, both written and oral, to include preparation of written products for senior leadership.

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring agency cybersecurity program conforms with organization policies and directives. The candidate will further be responsible for advising leadership on cybersecurity initiatives, strategies, tools and policy.

DUTIES:

The Cybersecurity Analyst is an experienced security professional with expertise in cyber security, networking principles and in-depth knowledge of system security requirements. The Cybersecurity Analyst will perform day-to-day security activities as required.

**Cyberspace Operations & Activities Technical & Analytic Support **

· Support the Cyber Operations and Intelligence with expert knowledge of cyber operations authorities, policies, and processes

· Lead studies and assessments to identify gaps in the Department’s cyber operations posture and recommend mitigations.

· Foster partnerships with stakeholders across the Department Develops to develop and implement action plans.

· Track progress of implementation of the cyberspace operations initiatives and manage competing priorities/tasks across the department and sets goals, objectives, and priorities.

· Liaise with intelligence community (IC) stakeholders on issues related to intelligence support to cyber operations.

· Identify cyber operations and intelligence issues to bring forward to departmental venues and discussions.

· Assist with the development of policies, guidance, and strategic approaches relating to cyberspace intelligence.

· Assist the office on a range of complex issues relating to the implementation of cyberspace intelligence policies, plans practices and procedures governing the Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) support to cyberspace operations, production of foundational intelligence and collection in and through cyberspace.

· Provide technical and analytical support for policy enhancements to support defense of DoD critical infrastructure and control system / operational technology networks, devices and information.

· Support policy and activities to meet the goals of refining, integrating, and synchronizing aspects of DoD security, protection, and risk-management programs that directly relate to mission execution as described in the DoD Mission Assurance Strategy (MAS) and Mission Assurance Implementation Framework. Ensure integration of MAS related responsibilities assigned in the DoD Cyber Strategy.
