About the Role
As a Truck Captain at Move My Mess, you will lead a crew in delivering high-quality junk removal services for homeowners and businesses throughout Wadsworth, Medina, and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads by example, works with urgency, and takes pride in serving customers well.
You will be responsible for driving the truck, guiding your crew on job sites, communicating with customers, and making sure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, physically capable, customer-focused, and ready to grow with a company that values hard work, strong leadership, and doing the job right.
What You’ll Do
Safely drive company trucks to and from job sites
Lead a crew on residential, commercial, storage unit, and cleanout jobs
Communicate clearly with customers and provide a professional, positive experience
Remove furniture, appliances, debris, and other unwanted items safely and efficiently
Load the truck properly to maximize space and protect items during transport
Identify items for donation, recycling, or disposal based on company standards
Keep jobs moving with urgency while maintaining safety and attention to detail
Help train and guide team members by setting the tone through attitude, work ethic, and professionalism
Complete pre-trip vehicle checks and report any issues with trucks or equipment
Represent the Move My Mess brand with integrity on every job site
