    Job Description

    Truck Centers is looking for a Receptionist who will boast a friendly, can-do attitude; strong communications skills; and solutions-focused outlook to balance a busy switchboard, in-person customer support, point-of-sale transactions, and light administrative duties.

    This position will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Greet visitors in a welcoming, professional manner consistently and provide directional or informational assistance.
    • Operate phone lines in a professional, courteous tone and actively listen for ways to assist a diverse group of customers.
    • Reconcile cash drawer ticket balance, process cash, check, and credit card payments for point-of-sale transactions, and balance petty cash disbursements.
    • Perform consistent administrative duties as assigned, including drafting correspondence, copying, faxing, scanning, distributing correspondence within the dealership, filing, and maintaining call lists.
    • Continually maintain an orderly, organized work area.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role is required; switchboard or customer service experience is highly preferred
    • Knowledge of computer operations and MS Office, including Excel proficiency
    • Friendly, pleasant demeanor and phone voice with solid communication skills to welcome guests
    • Familiarity with dealership operations, trucking, or the transportation industry is preferred
