AGK Logistics Inc. is on the lookout for Regional CDL A drivers to join our family-run business, which operates around 30 trucks. We focus on automotive expedite services but also handle regular truckload freight frequently.

Our drivers typically return home during the week and enjoy weekends off. We primarily cover the Mid-West, including states like Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Iowa.

We value our drivers as partners in our success and have a dedicated Safety and Retention team to support them.

Responsibilities:

Operate a commercial vehicle with a valid CDL A license to transport goods safely and efficiently.

Manage the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

Navigate regional routes while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance records.

Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.

Here’s what we’re looking for in our drivers:

• At least 1 year of driving experience

• A willingness to be flexible and work during the week

• Ability to pass the FMCSA drug screening

• A solid PSP and MVR record

Our trucks come equipped with the latest Qualcomm technology, including Scale and Toll Passes. We also have an on-site mechanic available for quick repairs or tire changes.
