Position Overview

Walker White Mechanical is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to support daily operations by transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites throughout the Columbia area and surrounding regions. A valid CDL (Class A or B) is preferred , but strong candidates without a CDL may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver and pick up materials, tools, and equipment
• Load and unload items using proper lifting techniques and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Assist warehouse or field teams as needed
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and job-site safety standards
• Represent Walker White Mechanical with professionalism and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; CDL (Class A or B) strongly preferred
• Clean driving record with the ability to pass MVR and background checks
• Previous experience operating flatbeds, box trucks, or similar vehicles a plus
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in warehouse or job‑site conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of construction materials or mechanical/HVAC parts is a plus (not required)
