Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our chemical and fertilizer distribution team. This position involves driving non-CDL company trucks for local deliveries as well as assisting with daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a warehouse and distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Delivery
Safely operate company-owned non-CDL trucks to deliver chemicals, fertilizers, and related products to customers
Load, transport, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures when required
Perform basic pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
Warehouse Duties
Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing inventory
Pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment (training provided if needed)
Follow proper handling, storage, and labeling procedures for chemical and fertilizer products
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse tasks as needed
Safety & Compliance
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Comply with OSHA, DOT (as applicable), and company guidelines for handling chemicals and fertilizers
Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Report any safety concerns, spills, or equipment issues promptly
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
CDL not required (company trucks are non-CDL)
Ability to work in a warehouse and outdoor environment
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Basic math and record-keeping skills
Preferred (but not required):
Experience in warehouse, delivery, agriculture, chemical, or fertilizer distribution
Forklift or warehouse equipment experience (training available)
Work Environment
Combination of warehouse, delivery, and outdoor work
Exposure to chemicals and fertilizers (with proper training and PPE)
Physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Weekly Schedule
Warehouse Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Delivery and Driving Hours: Shift will vary based on customer needs
