What You'll Do

As a Truck Mechanic at Kerr Contractors, you will perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilitie s

• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot:
  • Class 8 Trucks
  • Diesel engines
  • Brake systems
  • Drive systems - Transmissions, Differentials and Suspensions
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Electrical systems

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid license and clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random screenings
• Must consent to background screening
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong team player
• Must have reliable transportation
• At least 4-5 years background working in Davie 4, Cummins Insite, JPro and Allison Dock
