- Mileage: 1,450 miles per week

- Operating Area: Drivers on this local job will operate in a 200-mile radius of Huron, SD.

Job Description:

As a truck driver for Dakota Provisions Livehaul, your primary responsibility will be to pick up turkeys from local farms on flatbed trailers and deliver them to the processing plants. You will operate within a 200-mile radius of Huron, SD. The job involves no touch freight, as the farms and plants handle the loading and unloading of live animals. You will have multiple trips per day.

Shift Details:

- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday

- Shift Timing: Turkeys will be picked up between 4 PM and 4 AM for processing the next day.

- Routes take approximately 10-12 hours per day.

- Home Daily

- Driver PTO: Immediate accrual of 1.5 hours per week, 2.5 hours per week on the 6th anniversary, and 3 hours per week on the 19th anniversary.

- Thanksgiving: Drivers are not guaranteed to be off, but the account will do their best to work with them.

- Christmas: Drivers will be off.

- Holiday pay is available immediately with no waiting period.

Pay and Benefits:

- $500 show bonus paid out on the driver's first paycheck (contingent upon showing and being hired for the account).

- Additional Pay: $100 per week service salary. Must show up on time and have no call-offs.

- Tractors and Trailers will be based in Huron, SD.

- Stop Pay: $28.50 per stop

- Average Stops: 6.50 per day

- Equipment Types: Day Cab, Automatic trucks

- No slip seating (dedicated trucks)

- No passengers allowed

- Truck can be taken home with approval from the Account Manager.

- No drop/hook pay

- Riders not allowed

- Pets not allowed

- Number of Paid Holidays: 6
