We are looking for a strong leader who is strategic and has FPA experience, in accounting. 100% Remote.
The VP of Finance has the primary tasks are to lead daily accounting and financial operations for one of our service Lines.
- Public Accounting firm experience is HIGHLY preferred.
- Accounting:
- Support, supervise, and improve accounting personnel, processes, and systems
- Submit timely and accurate financial reports
- Establish and track KPI reports
- Finance:
- Maintain a 90 day and fiscal year cash flow projection by OpCo and Service Line
- Arrange lines of credit and cash infusions needed for OpCo and Service Line growth
- Create and refine satellite economics model for new city openings
- Create and maintain OpCo budgets
I. Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain financial strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
- Prepare and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage cash flow and maintain relationships with banking and financial institutions
- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and decision-making
- Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Hires and terminates team members in the Accounting team
- Reports to the Service Line President
- All other tasks and duties as assigned
II. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in financial management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proven track record of driving financial growth and success
- Knowledge of financial software and systems
