Job Summary
We are looking for a competitive Sales Representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of company’s services.
Primary Responsibilities
- “Get the sale” using various sales methods (travel by car door-to-door, cold calling, hand out pamphlets, conduct presentations, etc)
- Convince client to purchase services using a script or persuasive technique.
- Tell customers why the company’s services are better than competitors.
- Write up service agreements.
- Take payments such as cash, credit, or check.
- Develop prospect list or lead list.
- Maintain and expand client database within assigned territory
- Win back or upgrade current or former clients.
- Work an assigned territory. Meet personal and/or team sales targets
- Circle back and check on customers who are in the position to buy the services
REQUIREMENTS
- AA/AS degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years of proven sales experience
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Computer use competency
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and driven
