    POSITION SUMMARY:

    As a Loan Processor, you will support our Processing Manager and team leaders by applying your strong social skills to assist in the loan funding process. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize will make an excellent addition to or our lively office! Some responsibilities include:

    • Pipeline Management:
      • Update Encompass Milestones daily
      • Follow processing flow (Standard Operating Procedures/SOPs) with lenders
      • Participate in day-to-day processing pipeline review with Management
      • Provide detailed processing pipeline review to Broker/Owner by 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, or at least twice daily
    • Communicate
      • Clients: Update touch points with clients every 2 days
      • Review loan approvals with Broker/Owner
      • Have Broker/Owner sign off on all closings:
        • Email Final Loan Documents with all Payoff Demands and Invoices to Adrian and Loan Officer on file for final sign off
      • Schedule notary based upon Loan Officer providing client schedule. Loan Officer will coordinate time with client solely based upon acceptance of final documents.
      • Build processing relationships with current wholesale lenders. 360-degree feedback will be collected from all lenders to assess client customer service and relationship.
    • Loan Management
      • PTD: Ensure all “Prior to Documents” conditions are completed.
      • Inform Loan Officer of missing items.
      • Loan Officer to confirm if he/she will reach out to client or if processor may do so.
      • PTF: Confirm all “Prior to Funding” conditions are completed.
      • STC: Ensure that final documents are not “short to close.” If “short to close,” coordinate with Loan Officer on who will communicate with the client regarding adding short to close amount to overall loan amount.
      • LTV: Confirm final “Loan to value” and FICO credit scores are reviewed by Broker/Owner
      • Purchase: Confirm that Client has met minimum down payment requirements based on closing documents and program specific guidelines
    • Training
      • Attend and participate in company, lender, and software training

     

    QUALIFICATIONS/ DESIRED SKILLS:

    • 1+ year processing experience
    • High school diploma required; Bachelors preferred.
    • NMLS/ DRE classes and certification
    • Annual Continuing Education
    • Knowledgeable with loan processing laws and federal/state compliance requirements
    • Experience working within a multi-site environment
    • Computer and Internet literacy; specifically, with MS office applications and knowledge of Word, Excel is required.  Experience with Encompass is a plus
    • Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-directed, and well-organized with ability to multi-task
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to function independently within a broad scope of guidelines and established policies and goals
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially
    • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment 
    • Ability to work within and meet required deadlines
    • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organization and with external lenders and clients
    • Past experience developing policies and procedures (preferred)
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
