    We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to provide community-based crisis intervention services to youth experiencing acute mental health and/or substance use crises. Intervention may involve rapid response, connecting youth and families with necessary resources, providing immediate support to stabilize the situation, and working with other service providers to coordinate care. This role may provide short-term counseling and therapy to help youth and families address immediate concerns and referrals to longer-term mental health or substance use treatment programs. Qualifications: Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field; Must be either a licensed or board-eligible/provisional licensed professional.

These services include evidence-based practices, school-based and outpatient therapy, psychiatric evaluations and treatment, Community Support and substance abuse services to name a few.

    Location: Charlotte, NC

    We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Therapist to provide the following services:

    • Crisis intervention: Respond to community mental health and substance use crises and provide immediate support and intervention to stabilize the youth in crisis.
    • Assessment: Conducts comprehensive assessments of the youth’s mental health and substance use needs to develop a personalized care plan.
    • Referral and linkage to care: Connects youth in crisis to appropriate mental health and substance use treatment services, including outpatient and inpatient care and community-based resources.
    • Case management: Provides ongoing support and case management services to youth with complex mental health and/or substance use needs, ensuring continuity of care and treatment adherence.
    • Outreach and education: Engages with community stakeholders, including law enforcement, hospitals, schools, and other providers, to promote mental health and substance use awareness, prevention, and early intervention.
    • Crisis de-escalation and safety planning: Works with youth in crisis to develop safety plans and coping strategies to prevent future crises and promote long-term recovery.
