The Role:
Our volume and pace is far ahead of forecast, and we need help scaling our systems. We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help us through this critical growth phase.
Responsibilities:
Relentless approach to site stability
Automate and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure
Create and own software that improves reliability, scale of our production and staging systems
Participate in the on call rotation
Manage cloud costs
You are a creative, “can do” problem solver who also does not hesitate to insist on their opinion and push back to management when appropriate
Requirements:
5+ years experience as a systems engineer, linux sysadmin, or SRE
Experience with AWS
Excellent coding skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a team-oriented, customer-focused approach.
Passion for uptime
Working experience with docker and ansible
Strong networking, linux, and command line sysadmin skills
Bonus Points: (optional)
Experience with jenkins, spark, elastic search
