Looking for a compassionate LVN that's able to provide skilled nursing services to medically fragile children. and is able to provide nursing services that are specified in the child's plan of care, as well as, developmentally appropriate activities.We are currently looking for self-motivated and committed LVN professionals to provide the highest quality healthcare service to our medically fragile clients. Overnight and weekend availability is a must

Duties & Responsibilities May Include but not limited to:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families and staff
• Ability to work independently
• Provide emergency airway management
• Administer enteral and oral feedings
• Physical activity
• Which may include heavy lifting, bending, standing or twisting while caring for clients while providing total care
• Medication administration, treatments, and therapies
• Complete thorough documentation, including treatment and interventions
• Seizure management

This position regularly requires employees to talk, hear, and communicate with both children and adults. This position requires employees to use their hands or fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The position may require lifting, bending, and crouching. The employee will occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.

Job Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License in the state of California
• Current CPR certification
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience preferred in Pediatric Care
• Must have a Weekend and Overnight availability
