    TruePoint Communications is seeking a team player with a passion for social media to join our digital media team as a community manager for a global brand. This person must be methodical, organized and highly self-disciplined. Attention to detail is key. Experience with media relations or reputation management is a plus. You will serve on a team of Social Media Community Managers who rotate coverage during both traditional and non-traditional business hours, with weekend and holiday shifts required. This is a full time, salaried position based in Dallas. 

    The community manager is responsible for proactively engaging on trending topics on social media networks, providing excellent client service and following through to resolution based on a specific process and communication style via social media. You will also be accountable for flawless execution and timely, accurate responses. You will gain exceptional training, experience, and competitive pay.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Serve on a team of Social Media Community Managers who conduct social listening, content writing, proactive engagement, reputation management, and crisis communications.
    • Successfully conduct social listening, proactive engagement and reactive reputation scenarios; manage a brand's content across a variety of different social networks including Facebook and Twitter, and act as liaison with multiple client teams.
    • Engage with customers on news, products, and services and share relevant information/content/links.
    • Provide client and team counsel on how to achieve social media marketing goals. 
    • Identify, flag and engage on trending topics.
    • Work with enterprise-publishing and listening tools.
    • Document and monitor additional activity as requested.
    • Conduct standardized reporting and analysis in real-time and as-needed during times of crisis and high-volume activity.

    Qualifications

    • Must be fluent (speaking and writing) in Spanish.
    • Minimum 2 years of professional experience with social media community management — particularly with global brands — is preferred. 
    • Willingness to work a mix of daytime, evening, weekend and holiday hours, up to 40 hours per week. Consistent scheduling is available, but there are times when special events, high volume, and crisis occur, and support is required. Holidays are recognized with paid time off. Ability to work live events such as Instagram and Facebook Live, Streaming Twitter events, etc.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • An affinity for technology and pop culture. A digital native with a functional understanding of multiple social media platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
    • Experience with social analytics and data analysis. Experience with Sprinklr is a plus.

    Operational Requirements

    • Effectively maintain a monthly expense report and reconciliation. 
    • Understand and facilitate purchase order process; initiate and track vendor billing accurately.
    • Track/enter time with precision on a day-to-day basis.
