Job Description: Case Managers guide cases through every aspect of the personal injury claim process and serve as the main point of contact for clients with pre-litigation cases. Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Perform typical office duties, such as answering phones, scanning, mailing, and filing • Generate, review, and send form letters • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, medical providers, lien holders, and insurance companies, among others • Request and process medical records and bills • Prepare demand packages and settlement documents Responsibilities: • Inform clients and outside counsel on case status as requested • Perform legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, medical records, social security, and medical providers • Advise attorneys with cost and time-effective recommendations to accomplish the client’s goals • Create legal documents for attorney review • Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met Qualifications: • Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software • Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed Compensation: $17 - $22 hourly
