    SERC Physical Therapy, a brand partner under Upstream Rehabilitation, is looking to hire an exceptional Physical Therapist Assistant  to join the Upstream Family on a TEMPORARY 12 WEEK BASIS.     REQUIREMENTS:

    • Associate degree from an American Physical Therapy Association approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
    • Licensed or license-eligible by your state.
    • Must possess the ability to relate and work well with patients, peers, and supervisors.
    • Must possess exceptional communication skills.
    • A combination of up to two years of education, training and clinical experience is preferred.
    • Able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and weekends.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Effectively implement patient treatment programs as developed by a Physical Therapist
    • Maintain accurate patient treatment records and current progress notes
    • Submit billing sheets for each patient treated in accordance with established corporate policy
    • Cleaning treatment tables and rooms after patient use
    • Participate in staff meetings, in-services and other educational activities
    • Most importantly, engage in consultation with the Physical Therapist as to any changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment which may warrant re-evaluation or alteration of the established treatment plan or goals.

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support Sales Department with daily activities and additional projects as assigned by the General Sales Manager.
    • Plan event logistics with client including layout, set-up, vendors, audio visual needs and agenda.
    • Submit weekly/monthly reports to the General Manager on event revenues.
    • Supervise Aquarium staff during events. Provide direction and coaching as necessary.
    • Communicate and maintain relationships with caterers and other vendors.
    • Up sell in-house enhancements including linens, lighting, animal encounters.
    • Work a variety of wedding shows including our own with Social Sales Manager
    • Act as the on-site contact and coordinator during events.
    • Maintain internal event calendar and hold a weekly event meeting that includes Operations, Husbandry and Engineering staff
    • Act as the owner of the event spaces (Riverside Room and Reef Room) and work with internal partners to ensure the spaces are maintained appropriately.
    • Perform Aquarium tours for groups and other interested guests when the sales managers are not available.
    • Must be willing to learn, operate, program, and troubleshoot Audio/Visual equipment and interactive equipment.
    • Handle comments, complaints, and suggestions regarding policy and procedure from guests and team members.
    • Perform Herschend Family Entertainment Core Values and Newport Aquarium Guest Service Accountabilities, Policies and Procedures, and Safety Protocols.
