    JOB SUMMARY

    The Talent Acquisition Manager exists to manage and develop the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for all open positions throughout the Dollywood Company and to build strategies to support staffing needs.  These responsibilities are to be conducted in a manner consistent with the mission and values of The Dollywood Company.

    SUMMARY OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Strategize, develop, and implement recruiting, hiring, and onboarding in compliance with federal, state, and company rules/regulations, to staff all Dollywood Company properties.
    • Hire, train, supervise, and develop the Talent Acquisition team.
    • Create annual recruitment and onboarding calendar based on the Company’s operational calendar to identify need-based recruitment and prepare job fairs, hiring events, college and high school visits, community outreach, etc.
    • Ideate, develop, plan, and lead creative staffing programs such as high school bussing, work-based learning, apprenticeships, and internships.
    • Collaborate with the HR Director and Employment Brand Manager to build the Dollywood Company employment brand strategy.
    • Collaborate with the Employment Brand Manager to build recruitment content and advertising (paper, digital media, social media, radio, television, and other materials) to align with the Company’s employment branding strategy.
    • Serve as the face of the Dollywood employment brand appearing on television, radio and other media outlets as needed.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, meeting regularly to support and serve staffing needs and hold each other accountable to agreed staffing levels.
    • Seek out and manage vendor relationships with staffing agencies to provide supplemental staffing support.
    • Manage vendor relationships for international workers such as J-1 students, and H2B workers.
    • Coordinate housing for transitional executives, and transient workers such as interns, international workers, and Sevier Hospitality Internship Program participants.
    • Create, monitor and report staffing metrics to stakeholders. Set goals for Talent Acquisition team and hold accountable to reaching agreed deliverables.
    • Routinely serve as Person in Charge of HR Operations.
    • Assist with all HR Events as needed.
    • Assist the with preparation and adherence to annual budgets.
    • Maintain confidentiality at all times to ensure that there is no release of information pertaining to Dollywood records, plans or any other matter without approval.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 18 years of age.
    • College Degree required. Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business preferred.
    • Five (5) years of recruiting/talent acquisition experience highly preferred.
    • Three (3) years leadership/supervisory experience of 2-5 employees highly preferred.
    • Theme park experience or high-volume seasonal staffing experience required.
    • Experience preparing budgets and familiarity with profit and loss statements preferred.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.
    • Knowledge of office equipment and computers.
    • Flexibility to meet varying customer needs and to juggle multiple priorities daily. Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of employment law required.
    • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
