Job Description
Job Summary:
Sales Support will enter data and perform other related duties.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Receives and handles requests from customers and distributors for price quotes, purchase orders. Also handles order taking, adjustments, and cancellations.
2. Builds rapport with customers and works to ensure they receive excellent service.
3. Uses computer database to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status.
4. Provides pricing, delivery, and other order information to customers.
5. Drafts purchase orders and invoices to submit to the accounting department.
6. As required, confirms credit status of customers with financial/credit department.
7. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to maintain good customer relations.
4. Ability to type 40-50 words per minute.
5. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn database and ordering systems.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in customer service or order processing required.
• Experience in food/produce highly preferred.
